We are looking for part-time substitutes for our newly opened support accommodation Katrinebergsbacken. We currently have an increased need to cover afternoons/evenings where sleeping duty is included and we also see a need for certain weekends. The target group we work with is men and women aged 21 and over with substance abuse issues or mental health problems.

ABOUT US

Our focus is primarily on the social support measures recommended by the National Board of Health and Welfare, where employment and stable housing are often central factors for achieving success in treatment and maintaining sobriety. We also work on building networks and new positive contexts for the individual to be in, such as internships, employment, and leisure interests that can remain after the individual moves on from us.

Based on case management methodology, we also help coordinate with other agencies such as psychiatry, the employment service, or health care to get a comprehensive view of the individual.

We work holistically and believe that the foundation for all development is to create trusting relationships and that these relationships have the opportunity to last over time.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a treatment assistant with us, it often involves helping to maintain a functioning daily rhythm with sleep and daytime activities, exercise, and other activities. The work means that we want to offer the residents fixed structures and routines, predictability, and relationships with trustworthy adults.

This means that you support the clients in carrying out everyday routines and can pick up on their well-being and challenges they encounter.

You need to be able to cook as nutrition is an important part of our everyday work. Sometimes the clients are involved in planning shopping and cooking based on a budget as part of their personal development.

We work process-oriented and our accommodation has eight places, and there is time and space to provide extensive support when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in the role as a substitute with us, you need to be a person who sees opportunities and believes in people's ability to change. You have the ability to collaborate, create alliances, build relationships, and work goal-oriented while adhering to the existing structures. You share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues and see it as natural to contribute to a positive work climate.

We prefer that you have education such as treatment assistant/educator, social educator, social worker, or behavioral scientist, or that you are studying in a human services profession. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Since we are an organization that works with people in vulnerable situations, you will need to present a certificate of no criminal record before a possible employment with us.

A driver's license is required.
